Senior
Pastor
Rev.
Robert Cook
(pictured with wife, Karen)

Rev.
Robert Cook was born in West Virginia and graduated from Trevecca
University in 1962, followed by the Nazarene Seminary in 1965. He
and his wife, Karen, began their ministry in Gainesville, Florida. He
served as Associate Pastor at Nashville First Church, then was called to
Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland, Florida. Pastor Cook spent
29 years at Lake Gibson, seeing the fruits of his ministry flourish.
During his ministry in Lakeland the church grew from a small, neighborhood
church to one of the largest Nazarene churches on the District and
included several major building projects and phenomenal growth. He then
spent several years in Fort Mill and New Ellenton, South Carolina.
He comes to Orlando with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in
building churches.
Karen
Cook was also born in West Virginia and graduated from Trevecca University
in 1961. She has taught in the elementary public schools for 19
years. She is equally involved in the ministry of the church and has been
instrumental in the Children's programs and music of the churches they
have pastored. With her many years of experience in early education, her
vision is to see children learn to trust God at an early age. Karen is
currently serving as choir director for the church, works in
the children's church area and plays piano and organ, as needed. We
are thrilled to have her as part of the ministry team.
